McCord started out as a fair-to-middlin' TOUR player better known for his razor-sharp wit and on-course entertainment value than his actual playing ability. But since his playing days, McCord teamed with golf guru Peter Kostis, handling color commentary for CBS's golf broadcasts. The mix is pure gold.

For more than a decade, the pair operated the Kostis/McCord Learning Center at Grayhawk. Although the world-renown golf school is now the Grayhawk Learning Center, the twosome remains as esteemed members of the Grayhawk family.
